Commercial Tree Care Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled, relationship‑driven Commercial Tree Care Account Manager to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Commercial Tree Care Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients while coordinating high‑quality tree care services from assessment to completion. This role blends customer service, operational planning, and field‑based evaluation to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Business Development
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long‑term retention.
- Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities within the service regions.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout all phases of service.
Site Assessment, Estimating & Technology(Sparrow Asset Manager)
- Conduct on‑site evaluations to assess tree health, safety, risk, and maintenance needs.
- Use Sparrow Asset Manager, our proprietary, internally developed software built through significant investment, to:
- Map and inventory trees across commercial properties
- Create detailed scopes of work
- Capture site conditions and recommendations
- Build accurate, professional estimates based on client objectives
- Track and manage all estimate statuses (“Draft,” “Sent,” “Approved”)
- Collaborate with Urban Forest Specialist as needed for additional review or mapping support.
Operational Coordination
- Review approved work and prepare clear scopes for the operations and production teams.
- Schedule client‑approved work in the Production Schedule within 2 business days.
- Coordinate crew deployment aligned with scope, timelines, safety standards, and client expectations.
- Post required signage per regulatory or client guidelines.
- Conduct pre‑job and post‑job walk‑throughs to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
Quality Assurance & Team Collaboration
- Confirm that completed work meets company standards for quality and safety.
- Perform client walk‑throughs after service completion and address any follow‑up needs.
- Collaborate closely with operations, urban forest specialist production teams to deliver a seamless service experience from estimate to completion.
What You Bring
- Experience in arboriculture, tree care, landscaping, or commercial property services (preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prepare, manage, and articulate scopes of work.
- Strong organization, follow‑through, and attention to detail.
- Experience with field‑service or estimating software preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the field.
